Too much of people’s hard earned money is languishing in poorly performing pension funds.
Best Invest have just issued a pension version of their landmark “Spot The Dog” publication which exposes those funds which have underperformed over a consistent and sustained time period. They have identified 113 dog funds holding £31bn of our money. How scary is that?
Whether your pension is with Aviva, Axa Wealth, Legal and General, Standard Life, Scottish Widows, or for that matter almost any pension provider they ALL have dog funds and what is more they have absolutely no responsibility to tell us.
Transferring pensions has never been easier. Monitoring performance has never been easier. On line research has never been easier.
But no one else will do it for you. It’s your money and you need to take control.
